January 20th

Week Five Day One
of Jedi Training Begins.
This week’s focus?
Training your Emotions.

Emotions are our compass.
They tell us where we are.
Yet we must rule over them,
or they will rule over us by far.

Anger is here to protect us.
Fight it or push on through.
Anticipation is here to guide us,
it tells what to move closer to.

Sadness indicates loss.
Stop and clarify.
Jealousy indicates want.
A feeling you can’t deny.

Fear indicates threat,
It’s there to provide protection.
Joy says, “do more of this,”
and trust indicates a connection.
