Jedi Training – Emotional Balance

Week Five Day Two
of Jedi Training Begins.
This week’s focus?
Training your Emotions.

Sometimes emotions
get tipped out of control,
they go one way
or the other.

When this happens,
there is a cure,
trade one emotion
for another.

When you’re enraged, find a distraction.
When you’re sad, find something that brings you joy.
With each emotion there is an opposite
that you can deploy.

Emotions are like the color wheel
primary, analogous, complementary
find your greens and yellows
and turn them into hyperbole.
